Morgan Grams, MD, PhD, MHS.

KDIGO Co-Chair Elect

Dr. Grams was elected as Co-Chair by the KDIGO Executive Committee and will assume her post in 2023.

Dr. Grams is Co-Director of the Division of Precision Medicine, and the Susan and Morris Mark Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Population Health at New York University Langone. In her capacity as Co Director of the Division of Precision Medicine, Dr. Grams works with clinicians and computational scientists to perform innovative, clinically relevant research in areas that include cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and kidney disease. Dr. Grams continues to serve as a leader of the Chronic Kidney Disease Prognosis Consortium, a well-known organization that analyzes and publishes data on various aspects of progressive chronic kidney disease. Before moving to New York City, she had a distinguished career at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. She attended medical school at Columbia University and completed her nephrology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University.
