Special interests and activities : Special interests in Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension, Diabetic Kidney Disease and Peritoneal Dialysis. Current chair of  the National Renal Registry, Malaysia and Board Member of  the National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia. Has been involved in setting up the PROMISE registry, a regional ASEAN PD registry and serves as a PD Chapter co-editor for the Malaysian Dialysis & Transplant Registry. Has participated in Malaysian Guidelines Development Committees for CPGs on Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease, Heart Failure and contributed to the Asian Pacific Society of Nephrology Clinical Practice Guidelines on Diabetic Kidney Disease 2020.Involved in nephrology training as Chair of the Nephrology Training Committee MOH, Supervisor/mentor for more than 20 nephrology trainees in the last 5 years, Examiner for MSN Nephrology Exit Examinations, Honorary Adjunct Professor for Faculty of Medicine, MAHSA University and supporting member in ISN-Sister Renal Centre pairing between Hospital Kuala  Lumpur, Malaysia  and Hospital Sardjito, Yogyakarta Indonesia.
