COVID Testing
Most countries have now dropped their testing requirements. If your country still requires a pre-departure COVID test, we kindly request that you visit a nearby pharmacy or testing site so that you can obtain your results in time for departure from Berlin. KDIGO will reimburse attendees for testing costs. For the latest information on how coronavirus is affecting travel to Germany, please click here.
Reimbursements
The KDIGO Travel Protocol & Reimbursement Form is included in the Resources section to help facilitate your planning and booking for this trip. As noted, KDIGO will reimburse attendees for standard economy class plane tickets. Should your standard economy airfare exceed USD $2000.00, please contact KDIGO for approval. Kindly also note that KDIGO is a Belgium-based foundation, and Belgian tax authorities are quite strict in that attendees must provide paper receipts for all expenses. As such, please be sure to keep all taxi and meal receipts during your trip. KDIGO will cover accommodation costs directly, however hotel incidentals such as minibar or laundry will need to be paid for personally. Sponsor participants are responsible for all conference-related expenses and will not be reimbursed by KDIGO.
