KDIGO is updating The 2021 Clinical Practice Guideline for the Management of Glomerular Diseases on an ongoing, chapter-by-chapter basis.


The KDIGO 2024 Clinical Practice Guideline for the Management of IgA Nephropathy (IgAN) and IgA Vasculitis (IgAV) was recently available for public review. The guideline is now being prepared for publication, incorporating feedback received during the public review period. The information contained in this document does not represent the final KDIGO IgAN/IgAV Guideline, is intended only as a reference document, and the distribution of the information contained therein is strictly prohibited.


This update considers evidence from randomized controlled trials published through April 2023. Brad Rovin, MD (United States), and Jürgen Floege, MD (Germany) co-chaired the guideline chapter updates and the 2021 KDIGO Glomerular Diseases Guideline.
