[Brussels, Belgium] — Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) is pleased to announce Christoph Wanner, MD, as its new Co-Chair Elect.
Dr. Wanner was elected by the KDIGO Executive Committee and will join Morgan Grams, MD (NYU Langone Health, United States) as Co-Chair of KDIGO. He will succeed Michel Jadoul, MD (Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc, UCLouvain, Belgium), who has served in this volunteer role since 2019 and will conclude his term at the end of December 2025. Dr. Wanner will begin his term on January 1, 2026.
