Russian Dialysis Society Meeting Presentation: KDIGO 2025 IgAN Guideline Update

This is a recording of a presentation by Professor Jonathan Barratt (University of Leicester, United Kingdom) on the KDIGO 2025 IgA Nephropathy (IgAN) and IgA Vasculitis (IgAV) Clinical Practice Guideline, delivered at the Russian Dialysis Society (Российское диализное общество) annual meeting in November 2025.

Dr. Barratt, a member of the KDIGO IgAN/IgAV Guideline Work Group, reviews key guideline updates on disease classification, risk assessment, and evidence-based management strategies for IgAN and IgAV.

Hosted by the Russian Dialysis Society, the three-day hybrid conference brought together nephrologists and multidisciplinary specialists from across Russia and neighboring NIS countries to share the latest advances in kidney care. The program featured expert updates on chronic kidney disease management, the presentation of the 2025 Pioneer Award for the NIS and Russia region, scientific sessions covering a wide range of nephrology subspecialties, and a dedicated CME course focused on kidney pathology, omics, and genetic issues.
