The Scope of Work for the KDIGO Controversies Conference on Technological Advancements to Support Guideline-Directed Care is now open for public comment through Friday, October 24. You can share your comments via the feedback form on the conference website. KDIGO seeks public input on all Controversies Conference Scopes of Work to ensure each meeting and its output are as helpful and impactful as possible for clinicians and patients.

Evidence-based kidney care is advancing faster than it is being applied. Many proven interventions still are not reaching patients, and even long-standing recommendations are inconsistently followed. This conference will bring together international experts from nephrology, primary care, cardiology, implementation science, health systems, and digital health to explore how technology can improve the implementation of evidence-based guideline recommendations and strengthen kidney care delivery.

The conference, co-chaired by Alan Go, MD (Kaiser Permanente, United States) and Jo-Anne Manski-Nankervis, MD (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore), will take place in Madrid, Spain, in November 2025.
