The KDIGO Controversies Conference on Maintaining Kidney Health and Preventing CKD will bring together a global panel of patients and individuals with multidisciplinary clinical and scientific expertise, including nephrology, cardiology, endocrinology, pediatricians, pharmacology, and primary care to identify key issues in preventing CKD. This conference will explore the current CKD definition and ways to identify and stratify individuals for CKD prevention. This conference will also address pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic approaches to preventing CKD.

Drs. Alberto Ortiz (Fundación Jiménez Díaz, Spain) and Katherine R. Tuttle (University of Washington, USA) will co-chair this conference.
